Tasting Table: 2012 Summer Cookbook

by Handjobs For The Home on August 21, 2012

The Tasting Table is an awesome resource for foodies and cooks alike. From daily e-mails about local restaurants, to fun and flavorful recipes. If you don’t already get their e-mails, you should really sign up — I can’t tell you the amount of cool stuff they come up with that I’ve never even thought of. I remember when they used to be this little bitty tiny baby website, and now they are rolling with the big boys like Serious Eats, and Saveur.

Most recently, they came out with this incredible new (free!) cookbook for the iPad which is visually rich and chock full of great recipes. The photos are stunning and the recipes, well, frankly each one made my mouth water. So much so in fact, that this weekend I whipped up their Chile-Garlic Fried Chicken. Holy cow…I think it was the best thing I’ve ever made. I had one of those moments where I was like, Omg, I can’t belive I made this…

I love those kind of moments.

What I enjoy most about the iPad cookbook is that it organizes all it’s recipes into different categories such as: Picnic Friendly, No Cook, Make Ahead, and Quick. It also features step by step slide shows, and test kitchen videos — both of which are super amazing.

You can download the cookbook in the iBookstore here: Tasting Table: 2012 Summer Cookbook

And just incase I haven’t already convinced you enough to download this cookbook, here are some more mouth-watering screen shots.

I love the design and the photography of this electronic cook book! I don’t have an i-pad so, I’ll have to pass.
